Colossians 4:2 Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.
On holiday when my family were younger we visited a theme park. I told my young daughter that we were going to visit a theme park a few days beforehand and she immediately started to plan what she was going to do there. At bed time she said a big thank-you that we were going. Thankfulness is the language of faith. She heard me and believed me and although she had no evidence of Sea World she was living in the reality of her trip and being thankful for it – Faith in action. When you pray today, respond to His word with thanksgiving. In fact, watch over the words He has spoken to you in the past and give thanks.
Thank you Lord, that You are faithful to Your word. May my heart be full of thanksgiving for all you have done, are doing and will do today.
