Seeing the familiar in a different way can bring revelation to our every day lives. I hadn’t noticed that London and two “on”s in it, but having done so it seemed to me a question to ask – what do we want to see turned on and activated in London?
Lights on
In London we may feel that things are tough, the future may look dark, and the challenge of knife crime certainly seems so. The focus for our prayer though needs to focus on the solution. Light overcomes the darkness, we need to turn the light on!
Destiny on
Light brings revelation, when the light is on we can see clearly, in fact Psalm 119 tells us that
His word is a lamp to my feet a light to my path
Psalm 119:105
So we should also turn dreams and destiny on in prayer. We need to pray for the illumination of light to bring fresh dreams, strategy, direction to lead London into its destiny.
